The Garden of Words (2013)

Takao is a 15-year-old Japanese student who dreams of becoming a shoe designer. He often skips class and heads to a traditionally-manicured Japanese park to sketch shoes. One rainy day, a mysterious and somewhat older woman shows up. Tamako and Yukina strike up a conversation. Both are moved by the gentle personality of the other. They also bond subconsciously because they both are dealing with troubling personal issues. As the rainy season wears on, Takao and Yukina continue to meet and connect on a deeper level. Both have secrets to reveal that will change the course of each other's lives.
