The Garden (2006)

Haunted by disturbing visions and self-inflicted wounds, young Sam struggles to navigate the turbulent wake of his parents' divorce. His father, David, is advised by Dr. Cairns that a bonding period could be their saving grace. Embarking on a father-son road trip in an attempt to heal their fractured relationship, their journey is unexpectedly halted when Sam, spooked by a spectral figure on the road, wrests control of the vehicle and causes a crash. Emerging from this disaster, they are mysteriously rescued by the enigmatic farmer, Ben Zachary, who offers them shelter on his remote farm and a fresh start. As David finds solace in laboring on the land, Sam is enrolled in the local school, where he attends Bible classes under the tutelage of Miss Grace Chapman. But all is not as idyllic as it seems. As Sam delves deeper into his studies, he makes a chilling discovery. The farm is eerily reminiscent of the Garden of Eden, and the benevolent Mr. Zachary is not who he appears to be. Beneath his hospitable facade lurks a malevolent force with a sinister plan for both David and Sam.
