Plot

In the sun-dappled shadows of a well-loved, aging country house, Marga, a 65-year-old matriarch, contemplates selling her ancestral home to finance a peaceful retirement and globe-trotting adventures with Julia, her youthful paramour. As she prepares to reveal this news, her family descends upon the house, each carrying their unique burdens and secrets, to claim their share of memories and possessions. Her brood includes the charismatic Casandra, a voice adored by many on the radio waves, and her husband Gus, battling the aftermath of a love affair. Hector, the successful entrepreneur cloaked in affluence, is accompanied by his blushing bride-to-be Ana, their smiles barely concealing a damning secret. The family reunion is further complicated by the presence of Aquilles, known fondly as "Aki", a struggling actor who has taken up residence in the country house, penning his story of trials and tribulations. Thrown into the mix are Julia, masquerading as Marga's aide, the once-renowned actor Leo, whose star has dimmed under the weight of dementia and is Marga's former spouse and the father of her children, and Maria, Casandra and Gus' adolescent daughter, grappling with burgeoning schizophrenia and an eerie fascination with the Furies, the avenging deities of ancient Greek lore. As Marga seeks the right moment to unveil her relationship with Julia, the undercurrents of tension, unspoken words, and concealed truths threaten to consume the family. The real ticking time bomb, however, is Maria whose obsession with the Furies could not only shatter her fragile mind but also expose the family's unspeakable secrets, potentially tearing apart the very fabric that binds them together.
