Plot

In the heart of adolescence, Amy Harper finds herself on a thrilling first date with Buzz Dawson, accompanied by their friends Richie and Liz. Their youthful curiosity leads them to an enigmatic carnival, a place of wonder, mystery, and a bit of the forbidden. With laughter in the air and the scent of cotton candy mingling with the smoky haze of shared grass, they explore the eerie attractions, including a sideshow of grotesque animals. As night descends, Richie, ever the jester, proposes they sneak into the Funhouse, the carnival's most thrilling attraction, to spend the night. Beneath the creaky floorboards and amidst the vibrant, unsettling decorations, they witness a horrifying spectacle from a hidden vantage point. The carnival's fortune teller, Madame Zena, is brutally murdered by a man hidden behind a Frankenstein's monster mask. Fueled by fear, they seek escape, but find themselves trapped, the once inviting exits now locked and ominous. Meanwhile, Richie, the clown turned kleptomaniac, stealthily lifts the carnival manager's stash of money. When the masked murderer returns with his father, the carnival owner, the theft is discovered. In a grotesque revelation, the mask is removed, unveiling a face as monstrous as the crimes committed. Startled, Richie drops his lighter, igniting a chain of terrifying events. The carnival owner, enraged and vengeful, sends his disfigured son on a relentless hunt for the terrified teenagers. What started as an evening of fun spirals into a nightmarish game of cat and mouse, as the teens are plunged into a night of terror, desperately trying to survive in the eerie labyrinth of the Funhouse.
