Escaping the clutches of the law, our protagonist, Laine, stumbles upon the Frontier, an unexpectedly hospitable refuge nestled amidst the unforgiving desert landscape. This isolated diner and motel owned by the enigmatic Luanne, offers her not just shelter but an opportunity to vanish into the anonymity of its dusty corners. Eager to slip away from her past, Laine seizes the chance and steps into the shoes of an employee. However, the veil of obscurity begins to lift, revealing a reality starker than her own. The motel, she discovers, is a secret meeting point for a band of criminals, fresh off an audacious heist.
