Plot

Within the austere walls of Runcie prep school, an elite group of five friends forms an audacious alliance, christening themselves The Fraternity. These boys, bright but unscrupulous, mastermind a deceitful operation to cheat their way to academic glory. When a file cabinet filled with test papers is discovered compromised, the ensuing scandal implicates The Fraternity, who have inexplicably aced the tampered papers, thrusting them under the keen scrutiny of the school's honors council. Each member of The Fraternity, known for their academic prowess, is subject to relentless questioning. Smitty, a dogged member of the council, makes it his personal mission to unmask the perpetrators. However, the unity of The Fraternity begins to splinter when one of their own, Frazier, is betrayed and expelled. The remaining members are quick to point fingers at Faulkner, a fellow A-grade student, but an outsider to their clandestine circle. Alex, a member of The Fraternity and Faulkner's roommate, stands at odds with his comrades, believing in Faulkner's innocence. Yet, another member, Jetson Harlow, lets vengeance guide his actions, leading him to send Faulkner a fabricated rejection letter from MIT. When Faulkner is found dead in an incident labeled as suicide, the undercurrents of suspicion and betrayal run deeper. One of the Fraternity members, driven by a pursuit of truth and justice, resolves to peel back the layers of deception and mystery shrouding Runcie. The Fraternity, a tale of camaraderie, treachery, and the dangerous pursuit of ambition, unfolds within the hallowed halls of a private boys boarding school, where secrets are as treasured as A grades, and where every alliance has its price.
