At the cusp of their thirties, Lucía and Marcelo find themselves in possession of a hefty hundred thousand dollars, a tantalizing step towards their new home. Yet, fate intervenes, and their real estate dreams are put on hold as the signing of the papers is unexpectedly delayed. The pair retreat to their former apartment, frustration bubbling under the surface, their financial future tucked away in a secure corner. Marcelo's calming words, "Relax, today's just another day," echo in the tension-filled air, but the day is far from ordinary. As the hours of this restless day unfurl, the facade of their love story starts to crack, revealing a relationship teetering on the edge of a crisis, and a lurking undercurrent of violence within them both.
