Plot

In the peculiar cinematic universe of "Bruceploitation," the late Bruce Lee finds himself in a surreal afterlife scenario in "The Dragon Lives Again" (1977). After his untimely demise, Bruce lands in the infernal depths of Hell, where the unimaginable becomes his new reality. To maintain his sanity and martial prowess, he establishes a gym in this bizarre underworld, shrugging off the unsolicited attentions of the Hell King's uninhibited consorts. However, the tranquillity of his newfound existence is shattered by a sinister coup brewing in the shadows. The architects of this malevolent plot are an unlikely alliance of the underworld's most notorious residents, including Zatoichi (the blind samurai), James Bond, The Godfather, The Exorcist, Emmanuelle (a European softcore cinema siren), Dracula, and an oddly familiar Clint Eastwood (portrayed by an Asian actor). To thwart this impending doom, Bruce assembles his own dream team of unlikely heroes. Standing with him are The One-Armed Swordsman (a kung-fu film icon), Kain from the American TV series "Kung-Fu" (refreshingly played by an Asian actor), and the spinach-fueled Popeye the Sailor Man. Together, they face off against a horde of mummies in this distinctive, reality-bending cinematic experience. "The Dragon Lives Again," is an unforgettable journey into a world where the rules of life, death, and combat are rewritten with every scene.
