In the heart of Tel Aviv, Yoram, a devoted veterinarian, is immersed in a world of wild beasts at a popular safari park. His days are filled with the roar of wildcats, the whispers of the sick, and the ever-present danger of curious humans and charging rhinos. Yet, the true heart of the wild lies within his darkened apartment, where his teenage daughter, Roni, fights her own battles. To Roni, the apartment is a fortress of solitude that she increasingly yearns to escape from, disappearing into the heart of the city for longer and longer periods.
One haunting night, a knock at their door reveals the extent of Roni's hidden torment. After a near-tragic attempt to take her own life, an internet forum of concerned strangers brings her pain to light, forcing Yoram to confront their strained relationship. In this moment, father and daughter find themselves at a crossroads, leading them on a journey towards mutual healing and understanding.
In a bid to mend their fractured bond, Yoram takes Roni out of their urban jungle and into the embrace of their extended family. Their destination lies beyond the city's borders, in the desolate beauty of the desert land encompassing the Dead Sea. Amidst the silence of this primordial landscape, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, unearthing painful memories and long-buried secrets.
