The Dark Lurking (2010)

An unthinkable catastrophe unfolds in the heart of research station 320, a clandestine laboratory buried a mile beneath the earth's crust. All lines of communication cease, leaving the station in eerie silence while escape routes lay in ruins. A monstrous horde of ancient, rapidly mutating creatures on a rampage, feasting on life with an insatiable hunger, casts a deadly pall over the facility. Eight unlikely survivors find themselves trapped and isolated in an obscure corner of the station - two test subjects, a trio of hardened mercenaries, a couple of diligent researchers, and a medic. With food dwindling, defenses near nonexistent, and the prospect of rescue growing dimmer by the minute, they are forced to confront their grim reality. Their only potential escape maps out through a terrifying labyrinth of thirteen levels, each more sinister than the last, promising a chilling journey to the surface. Yet, amidst them lurks a treacherous entity, not just another survivor, but the embodiment of the very darkness that engulfs them, masquerading in human guise. As they navigate the terror that cloisters around them, they must also confront the fear that walks among them, a dark lurking presence that threatens to undo them from within.
