In the heart of Mexico's uncharted wilderness, Susan Winter embarks on a daring expedition fueled by the hope of finding her fiancé, Bruce Barton, who vanished mysteriously after his plane crashed there years ago. To fund her perilous journey, Susan convinces the affluent Martin Melville of the area's potential uranium reserves, a lure impossible for the businessman to resist. Alongside Susan, the team comprises of the stalwart guide, Russ Bradford, and the audacious pilot, Lee Brand, who navigates his small-engine craft through the treacherous skies. Despite warnings from Mexican authorities, the intrepid group presses on, only to meet a cruel twist of fate when their plane crashes, marooning them in a secluded, radiation-soaked valley. In this isolated refuge, they find themselves in a grotesque world brimming with monstrous mutations - colossal insects and gigantic lizards, the horrifying offspring of high levels of radioactivity. However, their greatest terror comes in the form of a 25-foot-tall cyclopean man, a deformed, one-eyed titan with only primitive instincts to feed and guard his territory. As the group navigates this terrifying new landscape, they are forced to confront not only the nightmare-inducing creatures but also their own fears and secrets. In this radioactive world, the search for Bruce Barton becomes a fight for survival and sanity, as the boundaries between human and monster blur.
