In the nerve centers of NASA, technician Steve Curan and Dr. Max Weitzberg experience a chilling silence as they lose contact with a returning moon spacecraft, fearfully suspecting a fatal end for the astronauts aboard. Suddenly, an eerie voice crackles through the monitor, pleading for the spacecraft's destruction. Obliging the desperate request, Dr. Weitzberg detonates the spacecraft, scattering its remains across the cosmos. Unaware of the high-stakes drama unfolding in the heavens, medical student Paul Lawrence and his girlfriend Donna enjoy a seaside escape. Intrigued and unfazed, Paul returns later to claim the grisly find, unknowingly inviting an alien terror into his life.
