Plot

In the pastoral yet desolate outskirts of the country, brothers David and Peter, riddled with desperation and clumsiness, execute a haphazard kidnapping of Tracey, the daughter of a formidable underworld titan. With the naïve and impulsive idea of a hundred thousand pound ransom, they conceal Tracey in a quaint, rustic cottage, her prison masked by tranquility. The ransom, entrusted to Tracey's witless stepbrother Andrew, spirals into a chaotic dance of deceit when it is discovered to be nothing more than worthless paper, ensnaring Andrew in the crosshairs of two relentless Chinese hitmen engaged by Tracey's father. David, upon discovering the ruse, ventures to a nearby village, leaving Andrew and Peter in a lurch. On his return, he stumbles upon an unsettling scene - Andrew unconscious, and Tracey, having flipped the power dynamic, has made Peter her hostage. Unbeknownst to them, a sinister presence lurks in the shadows - a deranged, disfigured farmer with a bloodlust that has just been sated by the demise of the hitmen. As the night descends and the plot unravels, the kidnapping scheme is rapidly overshadowed by an escalating cycle of terror, with all paths converging towards the psychopathic farmer. The silence of the countryside is shattered as this unhinged predator emerges, pulling David, Peter, Tracey, and Andrew into a frenzied nightmare where the hunter becomes the hunted, and every breath could be their last. In the cottage and beyond, hell breaks loose, spiraling into a chilling tale of survival, fear, and unanticipated alliances.
