In the dimly lit underworld of low-budget entertainment, Maximus is a clever trickster who, alongside his vibrant young wife, Rene, captivates audiences with a convincing clairvoyant act. However, the line between illusion and reality blurs when Maximus starts to make chillingly accurate predictions, sparked by the magnetic presence of Christine, a striking publisher's daughter.
