Plot

Tom Brewster, a young cowboy more skilled with a lasso than a pistol, strides into a dusty town with a dream of becoming a lawyer. He sends off his examination papers, hopeful for a new beginning. His pacifistic nature and disinterest in guns, however, soon attracts the attention of Barney Turlock, the town's corrupt mayor. Turlock, misjudging Brewster’s potential, offers him the position of Sheriff, sensing an opportunity to manipulate the town’s law enforcement. Initially, Brewster rejects the proposition, focusing on his legal aspirations. However, when a daring mail heist leaves Brewster's professional dreams stranded, he reluctantly accepts the badge, unknowingly stepping into the shadow of a sinister plot. Turlock soon discovers his miscalculation as Brewster, armed with his quick wit and unorthodox methods, proves more adept at upholding the law than anyone anticipated. His newfound tenacity stirs up the town's underbelly, leading him onto the trail of the previous Sheriff's mysterious killer. Brewster's pursuit of justice begins to unravel Turlock's web of deceit, setting the stage for a showdown between a lawyer-turned-sheriff and the town's cunning puppet master. The Boy from Oklahoma spins a tale of courage, deception, and the pursuit of justice in the unlikely backdrop of the wild west.
