Plot

In the heart of the Philippines' impenetrable jungle lies a ruthless all-women prison, the reluctant new home of ambitious socialite, Terry. An unexpected brush with fierce revolutionaries, Blossom and her rebel lover, Django, ensnares her in a web of rebellion and incarceration. Thrust into the hands of the sadistic warden, Zappa, Terry finds herself among the unfortunate souls condemned to the prison's deadly epicenter - an ominous wooden mill ominously dubbed "The Big Bird Cage." Each day in this concentration camp unfolds a new chapter of torment, as the inmates bear the brunt of brutal humiliation, relentless torture, and the ceaseless grind of the perilous sugar-processing machine. The Cage, an imposing monolith of wood and despair, stands as a relentless reminder of their lost freedom. The hostile guards and volatile fellow prisoners only heighten the atmosphere of sadistic cruelty, making each breath a battle and every attempt at escape a potential death sentence. Yet amidst the daily hell, hope flickers. Terry's chance at freedom hinges on the very catalysts of her predicament - Blossom and her revolutionary cohorts. As the gears of the Big Bird Cage churn relentlessly, will the women manage to shatter their chains and escape a fate far more terrifying than death itself? This chilling tale of survival, resilience, and rebellion, takes viewers on a riveting journey that teeters on the precipice of despair and freedom.
