Plot

In the sun-scorched, remote desert hinterlands of California, a group of young friends embark on a daunting journey, their destination: the mysterious disappearance of Diana's brother, Christopher, who vanished without a trace six years prior. Accompanying Diana are her lover, Eric, her steadfast cousin Tommy, and her closest confidante, Julie, along with Julie's boyfriend, Bill. Their quest leads them to an eerie, isolated hamlet, the last known whereabouts of Christopher. The villagers, however, are far from welcoming and shroud them in an unsettling silence, compelling the group to leave. Undeterred, their curiosity is piqued by a stranger of suspicious demeanor who lures them towards a nearby cavern. As they plunge into the heart of the cave, they find themselves prey to a monstrous entity, a beast that lurks within, a creature as shadowy as it is lupine. The encounter leaves Tommy grievously injured, and they desperately seek medical help from the insular town. But the village harbours secrets darker than the cavern. Instead of aid, they find themselves ensnared by the villagers in a twisted, demonic ritual. Diana and her friends are plunged into an abyss of terror, forced to confront not just the physical horrors of the village and its beast, but also the hidden darkness within their own souls. In this desolate wilderness, Diana must wage a battle of survival, not just against the monstrous beast and the malevolent villagers, but also against the insidious evil threatening to consume them all. As the lines blur between friend and foe, and reality and nightmare, the stakes rise in this chilling tale of fear, courage, and the relentless fight for survival.
