The Ark (2015)

In a desolate landscape, devout Noah and his wife Emmy toil tirelessly on their farm, sharing their humble life with married sons Shem, Ham, Japheth, their wives, and the innocent teenage son Kenan. A journey to the pleasure-laden city sees Kenan captivated by the decadent lifestyle of Sabba, the daughter of Noah's atheist friend, affluent merchant Paul. Nightly, Kenan is lured into her world of hedonism. A divine revelation descends upon Noah from an angel, a prophecy of an imminent great flood that will wipe away all of existence. The news strikes Noah's heart, but his family and fellow citizens scoff at his warnings, even pelting him with stones in ridicule. Emmy, however, manages to shame their sons into aiding their father in the ark's construction, though the skies remain stubbornly clear. As the ark stands ready, fugitives from the city, faithful to God, seek refuge. Noah welcomes them alongside a diverse array of animals and birds as the promised deluge begins. Kenan, entranced by Sabba, chooses to remain by her side, meeting the same fate as the unbelievers. Once the waters recede, the same angel returns to Noah, presenting a rainbow in the sky - a beacon of hope and a symbol of divine promise. This is a tale of faith, love, and survival against all odds, a testament to human resilience and divine providence.
