Plot

Struggling punk band mates Lauro, Rita, and Agus find their music stagnating, their audience dwindling, and their dreams slipping away. Desperate for a fresh sound, they seek the aid of a keyboard player. Enter Pepe, a prodigious talent with Down syndrome, who they affectionately nickname "The Alien." Despite societal norms, they welcome him into their musical family, finding in his unique genius, a beacon of hope. As Pepe's extraordinary touch redefines their sound, they catch the attention of Mr. Gramophone, a mythical figure in the music industry. Seizing the opportunity, he catapults them from obscurity to the zenith of the music world, creating a new genre in the process. But not all is harmonious in their newfound fame. Lauro, once the undisputed frontman, finds himself overshadowed by the radiant talent of The Alien. His unease grows as he perceives not only his spotlight but also his lost love, Rita, slipping towards Pepe. This emotional turmoil forms the backdrop of their explosive rise, adding a deeply human element to their musical journey.
