Plot

In the midst of life's chaos, a newborn baby boy, swaddled in a yellow cloth, is left by his 15-year-old mother, Kalyani, in a goods train laden with sacks of rice. Fate sets the train in motion, carrying the abandoned infant towards an unknown destiny. Upon reaching a stop, a group of children, seeking to pilfer the rice, stumbles upon the baby. Threatened by a railway guard, they flee, leaving the baby to the mercy of a nearby river. The river, a serendipitous cradle, carries the child to a bustling slum, where the tight-knit community embraces him, bestowing upon him the name Surya. Over the years, Surya blossoms into a man of courage and kindness, a beacon of hope for those in distress. His life takes a sharp turn when he boldly defends a woman and inadvertently kills her molester. Arrested and brutally beaten by the police, Surya is rescued by Devraj, a feared gangster whose reputation casts a long, dark shadow over the community. Surya learns that the man he killed was part of Devraj's gang, and thus, he becomes inextricably linked to Devraj, forming a bond of indebted loyalty and friendship. Their alliance governs the town, creating a parallel power structure. However, their reign is threatened with the arrival of a zealous new Collector, Arjun, who is committed to bringing Devraj to justice. Obligation forces Surya to accept a mission to eliminate Arjun, unknowingly setting him against his own blood. Simultaneously, life throws Surya another curveball when he discovers his long-lost mother, Kalyani, and learns of his true lineage. Torn between his loyalty to Devraj and his newly-found family, Surya must make a choice that could alter the course of his life forever.
