In the heart of Paris, amidst the clutches of Interpol, we find our flashy protagonist, Tabrez Mirza Khan, amusingly known as Tees Maar Khan (Akshay Kumar). Born to a Bollywood-obsessed mother, Khan's wits and cunning charm allow him to slip through the fingers of relentless Interpol agents, Chatterjee and Mukherjee, and find his way back to the bustling streets of India.
Underneath his stylish veneer lies a notorious conman who styles himself as a semi-Robin Hood, robbing from the affluent yet never aiding the impoverished. His exploits are punctuated by his repeated sojourns in jail and his undying love for his ambitious, starry-eyed sweetheart, Anya (Katrina Kaif).
When Khan is hired by the infamous Johari brothers, he plots the heist of a lifetime: to rob a treasure-stuffed train, promising an escapade that could immortalize him in the annals of criminal history. In an ingenious scheme, he convinces the gullible inhabitants of the village Dhulia that this grand heist is merely a scene from a film, thereby enlisting an unassuming army to aid in his audacious plan.
Adding to the colorful cast of characters is the self-obsessed and Oscar-hungry film star, Aatish Kapoor (Akshaye Khanna), who Khan ropes into his grandiose plan under the guise of a leading role that could win him the coveted golden statue.
However, the plot thickens as Khan's widowed mother arrives, closely trailed by the relentless Interpol agents, the stern Commissioner Khadak Singh, and a mysterious headless horseman. What unfolds is a riotous comedy, a whirlwind of chaos and laughter, as Tees Maar Khan navigates the intricate maze of his audacious heist, keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats, chuckling and gasping in equal measure.
