Taken Away (2014)

In the throes of youthful rebellion, eighteen-year-old Vicky finds herself pregnant by a fleeting 'street rat' who vanishes, leaving her to face the battle of motherhood alone. But the true struggle lies with her father, a formidable figure in the political arena, who fears the scandal of his daughter's situation could jeopardize his career. In a desperate attempt to shield his public image, he orchestrates an illegal adoption, ripping Vicky's newborn daughter from her arms and placing her in the care of unsuspecting adoptive parents.
