The Martian (2015)

After a storm on Mars, astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead by the rest of his team and is left behind. When he wakes up, he’s alone on Mars and must figure out a plan for survival. Over time, he formulates ways to grow food and communicate with those back on Earth. Millions of miles away, NASA brainstorms ways to rescue him. The entire world comes together, rooting for Watney to be brought home safely.
