Plot

In the vibrant yet haunting heart of Asakusa, a couple, Tsutae and Yoshiji, find themselves teetering on the precipice of uncertainty, their dreams and aspirations dwindling as they stand on a symbolic bridge. A bus ride transports them to Tsukishima, but they disembark at Suzaki, a place serving as a stark reminder of Tsutae's past life in Suzaki Paradise, a notorious red-light district where she once navigated the perilous waters of prostitution. A neon sign flickers across the bridge, casting an alluring glow on a bar seeking a waitress. Seizing the opportunity, Tsutae surrenders to the pull of her past, while the compassionate madam, Tokuko, lends a helping hand in their struggle, hiring Tsutae and securing work for Yoshiji as a noodle delivery man. However, old habits die hard and the allure of Suzaki Paradise proves potent. Tsutae finds herself drawn towards Ochiai, a wealthy and generous man who's made his fortune in the business of selling radios. As Tsutae and Yoshiji's lives intertwine with the vibrant and perilous world of Suzaki Paradise, the couple must navigate their uncertain future while grappling with the echoes of the past.
