Genie Burns, the inventive brain behind Surprise Enterprise, orchestrates extraordinary surprise parties in the most unconventional locations one could ever imagine. Living a life on the precipice of unpredictability, Genie ironically chooses the safer path when it comes to romance. Steven, her witty homosexual partner, serves as her safe harbor, while Danny, her college companion, remains forever anchored in the friend zone.
