In the sun-drenched city of Los Angeles, Donna, a wealthy aspiring writer, and Christi Ann, a hopeful designer, find themselves fatigued by the monotony of their romantic lives. Seeking a change, they set their sights on two intriguing strangers in a posh bar, mistaking them for high-class escorts. These men, Stanny and Joe, are construction workers from New York, who have been swallowed by the city and spat out jobless. With no money to their names, they find solace in the temporary luxury of the bar, planning to leave without covering their tab. In a whirlwind twist of fate, Donna and Christi Ann cross paths with Stanny and Joe, inviting them home under the belief that they are hiring their company for the night. After a night of passion, the daylight unveils the truth: the men are not escorts, but unemployed laborers. Unfazed, the women propose an unconventional agreement. Stanny and Joe can stay in a tent by the pool, provided with food and beer, whilst they search for employment. In exchange, they will serve as the women's "boy-toys," in a relationship focused solely on nightly pleasures. As the weeks roll on under the LA sun, the dynamics of these relationships evolve. The strictly sexual arrangement begins to blur into something more complex, as feelings deepen and behaviors are altered. The couples find themselves on a journey of self-discovery and emotional growth, challenging their initial perceptions and pushing the boundaries of their unique arrangement.
