Plot

In the wake of a life-threatening heart attack, Bill is coaxed by his physician into purging his life of stress-inducing elements. Misinterpreting this advice, Bill embarks on a lethal crusade, employing poison darts as his weapon of choice, to extinguish the nuisances in his life. This unorthodox stress-management reduces his blood pressure temporarily, but also catches the eye of the elusive Detective Jordan. Caught in a bizarre game of cat and mouse, Bill becomes both the predator and prey as Jordan oscillates between arresting him and becoming an accomplice in his stress elimination campaign. As Jordan's intrusive presence begins to suffocate Bill, his blood pressure spikes, compelling him to target Stan’s ex-wife, a source of stress closer to home. In a desperate bid to sustain their friendship, Bill and Stan hatch a plot to camouflage her murder as a heart attack. Their plan initially succeeds, but suspicious forensic anomalies point towards poisoning, drawing a parallel with the infamous "Dartman" killings. A cunning Detective Jordan devises an audacious plan to draw out the elusive killer, pushing Bill's blood pressure to perilous heights. Cornered and desperate, Bill now sets his sights on his own wife and her lover. He orchestrates a dangerous plan to frame another for the dart murders, throwing detective Jordan into a vortex of confusion. As he teeters on the edge of sanity, Bill must outmaneuver Jordan, steer clear of prison, and maintain his fragile health. This high-stakes struggle forces Jordan to confront an uncomfortable truth, and battle his own inner demons.
