Plot

In the quaint, folklore-rich village of Chanderi, an ominous shadow named "Stree" looms over the villagers. This ethereal witch, who has haunted their lives for generations, is no ordinary specter. She is known to mysteriously abduct men during the eerie darkness of their four-day annual festival, leaving nothing but their clothes behind as a chilling reminder of her visit. This tale, a grim echo of the "Nale Ba" urban legend that once stirred a wave of fear in Karnataka during the 1990s, is woven into the fabric of Chanderi's existence. Among the villagers, young and dashing tailor Vicky stands out, his disbelief towards these chilling tales as unique as his craftsmanship. His life takes a fascinating turn when he encounters an enigmatic woman, who, like the ghostly Stree, appears in the village only during the festival. As he is drawn towards her, a bond of intrigue and affection blossoms between them, adding a pulse of life to the otherwise haunting ambiance of the festival. However, Vicky's friends, Jaana and Bitu, find themselves shrouded in suspicion. As Vicky's tales of the unnamed woman grow, they can't help but notice an uncanny parallel - only Vicky has ever seen her, much like Stree. Their suspicion grows into an unsettling belief: could this mysterious woman be the dreaded Stree? In this blend of humor, horror, and romance, the lines between legend and reality blur. The villagers, Vicky, and his friends find themselves in a thrilling dance with the unknown, where every shadow could be Stree, and every laugh could be their last. The village of Chanderi invites you to witness this spellbinding tale, where fear intertwines with love, and legends come alive.
