Plot

David Wozniak, a quintessential underachiever, navigates the choppy waters of life in his middle age. His existence is a chaotic symphony of blunders: a precarious job as a delivery man for his family's butcher shop, a mounting $80,000 debt to unsympathetic mobsters, and an unsuccessful venture into growing marijuana to offset his financial woes. His personal life is no less convoluted as his pregnant girlfriend, Valerie, a diligent police officer, contemplates ending their relationship, convinced that their unborn child would be better off without David's influence. Just when David vows to turn his life around for the sake of Valerie and their unborn baby, a peculiar blast from the past threatens to upend his life even more. Two decades ago, in a desperate bid for cash, David had made numerous sperm donations to a fertility clinic under the pseudonym "Starbuck". Now he discovers that due to an extraordinary clinic error, he's the biological father to an astonishing 533 children. As if the revelation wasn't shocking enough, 142 of these offspring have initiated a class action lawsuit, demanding to know the real identity behind their enigmatic biological father, Starbuck. The situation spirals further into chaos as the media catches wind of this sensational story. In this whirlwind of events, David embarks on a unique mission to become a guardian angel to his vast progeny, subtly inserting himself into their lives without revealing his true identity. As he grows more entangled in their lives than initially intended, he finds himself torn between his newfound responsibilities towards his biological children, his commitment to Valerie and their impending child, and his loyalty to his own family. David's journey is a compelling tale of self-discovery and redemption, as he strives to reconcile with his past without jeopardizing his future. While juggling his multifaceted roles, he must keep his Starbuck identity under wraps, navigating this extraordinary situation with an unprecedented blend of humor, heart, and humility.
