Plot

In the uproarious comedy "Sour Grapes," a seemingly insignificant act of generosity sets off a ludicrous sequence of deceit, disarray, and dissolution. Two cousins, Richie, an innovative sneaker sole designer, and Evan, a high-ranking brain surgeon, find themselves embroiled in an escalating feud over a fortune won in the glitzy landscape of Atlantic City. As the weekend unfolds, their gambling funds dwindle down to Richie's last quarter. In hopes of a potential windfall, Evan unassumingly lends Richie two more quarters to try his luck at a slot machine. The reels spin, and in a pulsating moment of serendipity, three grapes align, transforming Richie into an instant jackpot winner of $436,000. However, the sweet taste of victory quickly turns sour when Evan expects a two-thirds share of the winnings, pointing to his monetary contribution as the deciding factor. Richie vehemently disagrees, sparking an absurd chain of events that sends ripples through their familial ties. As the windfall becomes a wedge, the family is divided, each member choosing sides in this comedic chaos. "Sour Grapes" is a delightful exploration of what unfolds when a stroke of luck transforms into a whirlwind of greed. Will Richie acknowledge Evan's role in the jackpot, or will the squabble ensue? Prepare to be entertained by this hilarious tale of how a mere 50 cents can flip the course of family dynamics overnight.
