Battling against the dazzling competition from Lazer Town across the street, Zoe's dreams are slowly melting like the wax in her salon. Living in a mobile trailer parked on rented land, her hand-to-mouth existence is a stark contrast to her best friend Claire's successful life as a music manager. He owns Vulture, a video store crumbling under the weight of digital revolution and his passion for films over profits. His wife Jane, a success-driven lawyer, shoulders the financial burden, leaving no room for romance in their relationship.
