In the bustling world of college life, best friends and roommates Todd Armstrong and Craig Gamble find themselves bewildered by their lack of success with the opposite sex. Despite their efforts, the complexities of attraction elude them, as mysteriously magnetic Freddie Carter seems to draw girls to him effortlessly. When an academic theory, presented by Professor Sonya Roberts, fails to solve their perplexity, the duo embarks on a daring plan - to join the co-ed ski club's upcoming trip to the mountains. In the crisp alpine air, they hope to get closer to Linda Hughes and Barbara Norris, the objects of their affection. However, their lack of ski skills, coupled with a fear of the winter sport, threatens to turn their romantic escapade into a disaster. In a wild twist, they decide to adopt the personas of Jane and Nora, two English girls, in order to attend the girls' ski classes without the embarrassment of their ineptitude. As they navigate the snowy slopes and their intricate ruse, complications inevitably arise. The arrival of the sensuous Nita from Sweden, with her different perspective on male/female relationships, stirs the pot even further. Moreover, the discovery of the lodge manager, Mr. Pevney's remote psychotherapy sessions, inspires a secondary goal for Todd and Craig - to send him spiraling over the edge of sanity. Their adventurous weekend takes an unexpected turn when the bus ride is serenaded by Lesley Gore singing "Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows", and the lodge reverberates with the energetic performance of "I Feel Good" by James Brown and the Famous Flames. Amid the whirlwind of skiing lessons, romantic pursuits, and psychological pranks, Todd and Craig learn more than they ever expected in this comedic tale of love, friendship, and the power of persistence.
