In the chilling aftermath of an infection that has decimated billions and brought governments worldwide to their knees, humanity teeters precariously on the edge of oblivion. Two years into this apocalypse, the resilient yet weary survivors grasp at the vestiges of their former lives, fighting tooth and nail for every dawn. Central to this struggle is the audacious young scientist, Dr. Leigh Rozetta, who has been cloistered in a clandestine government facility since the outbreak's inception, tirelessly laboring to discover a cure. When her countless failed attempts to turn the tide of the pandemic push her to the brink, Leigh daringly breaches the safety of her underground sanctuary to return to the familiar walls of her parent's home. On this perilous journey, she crosses paths with Seph and McKay, a pair of hardened survivalists fresh from a harrowing encounter with the infected. The trio barricades themselves within the eerie quiet of Leigh's parental home, their mission as stark as the encroaching darkness: survive until morning. Yet, this deceptively simple objective soon spirals into a nightmarish ordeal as the SICK converge around their haven, their grotesque moans echoing in the still night air. Coupled with the scarcity of supplies and the palpable tension threading through the group, their survival hangs by a thread. The night's unforgiving shadow harbors more than just the SICK, and they will be fortunate to see the daybreak with their lives intact.
