Plot

In the rugged border town of Adonde, two roaming drifters, Chris Foster and Bert Pickett, find themselves entangled in a crisis of their own making. After an alcohol-fueled disruption at a card game prompts Bert to assault the town's sheriff, both men are swiftly apprehended. Adonde, a town without a jail, resorts to a primitive form of containment: chaining those who disrupt the peace to a wooden post in the town square. Bert and Chris, now with iron collars fastened around their necks, are shackled to this public post. They find themselves in the uncompromising company of the town's habitual drunkard and the menacing crew of the infamous outlaw, Lavalle. With high stakes and a reputation to uphold, Lavalle and his gang are desperate to break free, their freedom looming just a few shovels away from the base of the post. However, their freedom comes with a dangerous condition: Bert and Chris must also partake in their daring escape attempt. As the dust of Adonde swirls around them, the two drifters are thrust into a situation far more complex than their initial minor misdemeanour, their fates now entwined with the lawless Lavalle and his determined gang.
