Plot

In the heart of Britain, Jez, an eccentric tech mastermind, joins forces with Dylan, a smooth-talking American swindler, both orphans navigating the world through cunning and charm. Together, they embark on a mission to "shoot some big fish," a playful euphemism for their craft of coaxing money out of unsuspecting victims. Their ultimate goal? To amass a fortune of two million pounds to purchase the childhood home that eluded them. As their grand scheme unfolds, they cross paths with Georgie, a seemingly innocent typist they hire for a particular con involving a voice recognition computer. What they don't foresee is the sweet allure she'll hold over them, sparking a complex romantic dynamic that threatens to unravel their tight-knit partnership. However, Georgie is more than she appears. Behind the facade of a secretary, she's a student on the brink of an arranged marriage with wealthy Roger, and is burdened by her own secret cause. She believes Jez and Dylan are modern Robin Hoods, raising money for orphans. Little do they know, she needs the money more desperately than they do. Her family home, a sanctuary for special needs children, faces perilous financial ruin. When an unexpected financial crisis lands Jez and Dylan behind bars, their hard-earned fortune falls into Georgie's hands. With the fate of two million pounds at stake and the queen demanding the recall of all fifty-pound notes, they must place their trust in the very woman they sought to deceive. Tangled in a web of love, deceit, and high-stakes cons, what is a girl to do with such a massive fortune?
