Plot

In the cold grey world of open borstal, two girls, Annetta and Carol, find escape, each driven by a desperate motive. Annetta, a young mother, yearns to visit her baby daughter, being raised within the austere walls of a convent. Meanwhile, Carol seeks the twisted comfort of recapture, hoping to reunite with her girlfriend, Doreen, in a closed borstal. Their paths diverge, and Carol's scheme comes to fruition. However, the reunion she longs for is marred by betrayal; Doreen has moved on, and her new lover taunts Carol cruelly. When Annetta is apprehended at the convent and thrust into the same closed borstal, she wrongly perceives Carol as the snitch, igniting a raging thirst for retribution. Amid this turmoil, Carol finds an unlikely ally in Eddie, a fellow inmate who shields her from the storm. Annetta, on the other hand, is frequently sequestered in solitary confinement, her relentless bullying attempts rendering her a pariah. But Carol's sanctuary crumbles when Eddie is released from borstal, leaving her defenseless in the face of Annetta's mounting vengeance...
