Plot

In the throes of youthful rebellion, teenager Mille Laursen escapes the clutches of her alcoholic mother's home, seeking refuge in her boyfriend Kenny's room at a bustling hostel. Here, she finds herself drawn into the vibrant world of Sami, a charismatic rapper with a purpose. Mille, now working at a local bakery alongside Anja, another hostel resident, begins to navigate the intricate labyrinth of her turbulent life. Kenny, a punk with an insatiable appetite for video games, beer, and drug dealing, is a stark contrast to Sami's focused ambition. Despite their shared living space in the hostel, they follow diverging paths, and Mille finds herself inextricably torn between them. Their lives take an unexpected turn when Mille and Kenny secure an apartment of their own, their dreams of new furniture thwarted by the harsh reality of their financial constraints. As Kenny descends deeper into a world of aggression and risky dealings with the dangerous John to furnish their new home, Mille finds solace in Sami's world. Invited to the pulsating heart of his life - the band's rehearsal studio - Mille and Sami embark on a passionate love affair that threatens to shatter the fragile equilibrium of her life. Caught in a tumultuous love triangle, Mille is forced to confront the stark contrast between her two lovers - Kenny, the reckless punk lost in his chaotic world, and Sami, the sensitive hip-hopper with a clear vision for his future. With her affections divided and loyalties tested, Mille must make a choice that will irrevocably alter the course of her life. The film "Scratch" is a riveting exploration of love, loyalty, and the complexities of youthful choices against the backdrop of raw urban realities.
