Savaged (2014)

In a world ruled by love, Zoe, a courageous twenty-four-year-old deaf woman, embarks on a solitary journey across the desolate expanse of the American South-west. With a heart full of hope and dreams of a future with her long-distance lover, Dane, Zoe's journey is abruptly and violently derailed. A merciless gang of white supremacists cross her path, subjecting her to unthinkable torture, and ultimately leaving her lifeless body in a shallow desert grave. In the quiet tranquility of the barren New Mexico desert, her lifeless form is found by an elderly Native-American Shaman. Driven by an ancient ritualistic instinct, he attempts to breathe life back into her. Unbeknownst to him, the restive spirits of slain Apache warriors lurk in the shadows, restless and hungering for revenge. When the shaman's ritual inadvertently invites a wronged Apache chief's spirit into Zoe, she becomes an unstoppable vessel of vengeance, fuelled by the spirit's centuries-old grudge and her own fresh anguish. Zoe, now imbued with an insatiable thirst for justice, embarks on a relentless warpath. Her journey morphs into a dual quest: to settle the Apache chief's age-old score and to exact revenge on those who cruelly stole her chance at love and life. With the power of a savaged woman and a betrayed spirit combined, she is unstoppable. As Zoe embarks on this relentless pursuit, one question lingers: can the savaged woman avenge her death and restore peace to the disturbed spirit within her?
