However, its peaceful facade is shattered when a woman's strangled body, adorned with a crudely painted satanic symbol, is discovered on its grounds.
As the detectives delve deeper, they unearth a grim pattern. All the victims are former residents of Safe Harbor, their hopes of a better life snuffed out after their departure. The grisly murders, a stark contrast to the center's purpose, send shockwaves through Safe Harbor as the detectives uncover the victims' ties to the center and the same haunting satanic symbol found next to each body.
Carly, haunted by her own past, reveals a shocking secret to her partner Joe - she was once a resident of Safe Harbor, having escaped her abusive father after witnessing her mother's tragic murder.
