In the humble town of Patiala, lives a simple widower, Fakirchand Kapoor. His life revolves around his two beloved daughters and his meager earnings from collecting recyclables and antiques. Destiny takes a turn when Fakirchand migrates to the United States and amasses a fortune, transforming himself into the affluent Fakki Cappar. He returns to the vibrant city of Bandra, Mumbai, arranging a prosperous marriage for his elder daughter and delighting in the birth of his granddaughter, Gudiya.
