Rust and Bone (2012)

Alain didn't expect to become the sole guardian of his five-year old son Sam, but he couldn't be in a worse position to care for him. He's dead broke and lonely, and he ends up having to move in with his sister and her family just to make ends meet. Alain finds a new job working as a bouncer, and it's here that he meets Stephanie. The attraction is sudden, and Alain especially finds himself attracted to Stephanie's magnetic personality. But when something terrible happens to Stephanie, Alain has to consider exactly what responsibilities he's prepared to take on for himself.
