In the underbelly of South India, where the drug trade runs rampant, a fiery altercation erupts between Kumbalam Jose(Subair), a mid-level dealer, and Appichai(Vijayaraghavan), one of the region's most formidable kingpins. This encounter triggers a chain of events when Sethu(Sai Kumar), Appichai's fiercely protective foster son, extinguishes Jose's life in a fit of rage. His mysterious demise stirs a storm in the state's political arena, compelling the Chief Minister(Janardhanan) to demand a thorough probe into the matter.
This task falls in the lap of Narendran, the dedicated Assistant Commissioner of Police. As Narendran navigates the murky waters of his investigation, he battles the corruption infecting his own ranks and the looming threats from Sethu. His relentless pursuit of justice culminates in the arrest of Sethu.
However, the plot thickens when a group of unexpected terrorists surface with a single-minded purpose - to assassinate Sethu. In an adrenaline-fueled showdown, Narendran and his team are left with no choice but to eliminate the imminent threat in an act of self-defense. When a terrorist nearly lands a fatal shot on Narendran, his senior officers IG Mohammed Shihabudeen(Rajan P Dev) and SP Thomas Mathew(Lalu Alex) intervene, illustrating the poignant truth - "The law in its majesty does not seek vengeance, but men do...."
