The Frozen Ground (2013)

Based on true events, this is the story of how an Alaskan State Trooper works with a victim to find enough evidence to arrest a serial killer who abducts young girls. He finds one girl who escaped and works to gain her trust to help him bring down the killer. When she originally told her story, no one believed her because she was a prostitute and the accused was a respectable businessman with a family. Her life was destroyed by the killer and she became a drug addict who is not inclined to trust anyone. The action takes place in Anchorage, Alaska.
