Rome in Love (2019)

In the heart of Rome, aspiring American novelist Philip Hamilton ekes out a living as a freelance reporter for the vibrant boulevard magazine Vistoso and doubles as a hotel porter and waiter. His life is quiet and unassuming, with companionship coming only from his endearing landlady Betty Richichi and her aristocratic cat Dante. When his editor, Vivien Daniels, hands him the assignment of uncovering the identity of the unknown female lead in a well-publicized remake of the classic film "Roman Holiday," his life takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Amelia Tate, a seemingly ordinary woman from Bend, Oregon, has long shelved her dreams of becoming a professional actress due to the burden of caring for her younger sister Kathryn after they were orphaned. Coaxed by Kathryn to take a leap of faith, Amelia applies to a worldwide open casting call. Her life is transformed overnight when she is chosen for the coveted role of Princess Anna opposite Hollywood star Jonathan Lyman.
