In the haunting wilderness of Oregon's Rogue River, a young woman, Mara, embarks on a solitary journey to scatter her father's ashes. Her pilgrimage takes a sinister turn when her car inexplicably vanishes, leaving her stranded and cut off from the rest of the world. Amidst this isolation, she encounters Jon, a seemingly benign older man who extends an offer of shelter in his remote cabin. With no other recourse, Mara reluctantly accepts his aid, unknowingly stepping into a deadly trap.
