In the heart of Japan's secluded mining village, Kitamatsu, an ominous silence descends as miners mysteriously vanish within the labyrinthine depths of shaft number 8. As investigations unfold, a solitary survivor emerges, recounting tales of a grotesquely colossal insect dwelling in the darkness. Before long, the village is besieged by these monstrous prehistoric insects, instilling an atmosphere of terror that clings to the air like a chilling fog. As the village wrestles with the insectile onslaught, the skies above are pierced by a terror unknown, a creature that defies the limits of speed and evokes the nightmares of a bygone era.
