Plot

In 'Return to Treasure Island' (1954), the enigmatic world of pirate lore becomes a reality for American scholar Clive Stone. Engulfed in research for his upcoming book, Stone becomes particularly fascinated by the legend of Captain Flint - a notorious pirate reputed to have concealed a treasure on the eponymous Treasure Island centuries ago. Convinced of its existence, Stone reaches out to Jamesina 'Jamie' Hawkins, a direct descendant of Jim Hawkins and the present owner of the Admiral Ben Bow Inn. He believes her prized possessions - an old map and a bible - hold the key to the elusive treasure. However, Jamie dismisses it as nothing more than a myth. A year later, Stone's visit to Jamie is marked by an unexpected twist. Intruders attempt to snatch the map, prominently displayed in the inn. Following this startling incident, Stone persuades Jamie to lend him the map, on the condition that she accompanies him on his daring quest to Treasure Island. Stone warns Jamie of the sinister, blind Felix Newman, a man consumed by greed, determined to seize the treasure at any cost. He suspects Newman’s henchmen were behind the attempted theft. To their surprise, they discover another villainous adversary in the fray - Maxie, later revealed to be Maximillian Harris, equally relentless in his pursuit of the treasure. Unbeknownst to them, a mysterious individual already inhabits the island, a wildcard whose intentions remain as hidden as the treasure itself. As the quest intensifies, it remains to be seen who will outwit, outplay and outlast to claim the pirate's bounty.
