Amid the stark winter in Montauk, at the farthest reaches of Long Island, two deck chairs stand lonely on the wind-bitten beach. These chairs are an unspoken invitation to two souls, who were once intertwined, but have long been lost in the labyrinth of time. Max Zorn, a seasoned writer in his early 60s from Berlin, and a New York lawyer, once shared a fleeting romance.
