In the sun-drenched expanse of the South Pacific lies an isolated island, home to 11-year-old Nim and her marine biologist father, Jack Rusoe. Propelled by her fictional hero's daring spirit, she embarks on a daunting journey, traveling by air, sea, and air again to reach the remote island. Meanwhile, Nim is faced with a new challenge when tourists from a luxury cruiser invade her island. Harnessing her courage and resourcefulness, she uses every means at her disposal to protect her home, managing to drive them away. When Alexandra finally arrives, they form an unlikely alliance, waiting together for news about Jack's fate. Nim's Island is a tale of survival, bravery, and the extraordinary bond forged in the face of adversity.
