Plot

In the ominous aftermath of the First Sino-Japanese War (1894-1895), a cabal of ambitious Japanese warlords plot a grand scheme. They envision an invasion of the expansive Chinese kingdom, using their foothold in southern Manchuria as the launchpad. To this end, they form a strategic alliance with General Tao, a formidable power player within China's royal court. This alliance stirs up a whirlwind of opposition, galvanizing other Chinese generals to rally against the traitorous Tao. Emerging as a beacon of hope within this gathering storm is the martial arts virtuoso, "Rapid Fist" Sau Pai-lung. With his unparalleled skills, he stands as a bulwark against every assassination attempt and subversive act masterminded by the Japanese forces. Squaring off against entire battalions of riflemen and stealthy ninjas, Sau remains an unyielding force. Exasperated by their inability to defeat him, the invaders call upon an assembly of infamous assassins. Among them are the lethal pole-fighting monk Yin Feng and the cold-blooded gunslinger Black Crane, armed with an arsenal of eccentric weapons including a colossal double-barrel shotgun cunningly disguised as a fan. When cornered, the Japanese resort to dark magic, reanimating three deceased warriors and transforming them into invincible kung-fu zombies. Yet, even in the face of such supernatural adversaries, Master Sau's resolve remains unbroken, outmaneuvering and outfighting them all in this thrilling saga of loyalty, honor, and martial prowess.
